Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of Eastern Hemisphere Tax Calendars

  • Assist in the execution of local/ regional country compliance and filing requirements including VAT, WHT, Payroll, Corporate and miscellaneous other taxes

  • Assist in developing and improving computerised and manual departmental processes

Financial reporting functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Summarise and assist in the preparation and review of book to tax reconciliations and other reports to evaluate, identify and avoid FIN 48 exposures by jurisdiction and or entity

  • Prepare monthly tax account analysis, true ups and reconciliations.

  • Assist in developing and improving computerised and manual departmental processes


Tax research and planning functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in contract drafting to support planned business structures in existing and new countries

  • Assist in maintenance of tax review records for Commercial Departments by Contract and Tax Jurisdiction
