Position Summary
Responsible for the effective provision and operation of inspection systems and services to the allocated Assets/ sites. To ensure that civil/structural facilities are certified in accordance with Oceaneering and Client codes of practice, strategies and legislation ensuring feedback of results to client Asset Group.
Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL
Ensure regulatory and client standard compliance
Support Line Manager (LM) in management of Oceaneering contract providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management
Support LM in production of Oceaneering Monthly Performance Management Report (Dashboard).
Responsible for the production andongoing management of the Asset Annual Inspection Plans and client planning process compliance.
Assist in the development of appropriate annual budget within designated area and manage the CTR (Cost, Time & Resource) process
Acountable for the technical content and schedule of the asset’s inspection plans
Accountable for ensuring timely execution of the defined inspection plan, co-ordinating with maintenance and site teams as required
Provide support to verification activities related to applicable Performance Standards
Assist with the implementation of an Integrity Risk Management Process, aligned to the client Risk Management Process
Ensure all work is complaint with relevant client engineering and safety standards and practices
Responsible for implementing the IQRO process
Maintain appropriate level of contact with asset teams and 3rd parties to ensure effective inspection and testing of onshore civil/structural facilities
Endorse inspection reports to ensure they comply with the relevant client technical practices
Provide management, guidance and direction to Oceaneering support personnel for the effective execution of the contract, including interfaces with Structural, Pipeline and Pressure Systems Engineers

Qualifications
REQUIRED
Degree in Civil Engineering (or Civil sub-discipline: e.g. Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering) (E)
Ability to generate a team approach to workflow execution and problem solving (E)
Provide leadership, co-ordination or guidance to others (E)
Good communicator both written, verbal and technical to make complex terminology simple for the benefit of others (E)
Good client or support contractor relationship skills at various levels of seniority or diverse cultures (E)
DESIRED
Chartered Engineer as defined by the Engineering Council or equivalent (P)
ASME or CSWIP Plant Inspector Level 2 certification (P)
API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector and API 570 Piping Inspection (P)
API 653 or EMMUA 159 Level 1 Tank Inspection certification, if position is for a landsite containing large storage tanks (P)
Offshore medical, BOSIET and MIST certification (P)
Confined Space Entry training (P)
Knowledge, Experience, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Minimum 5 years of specific experience related to the job description (E)
Building / facilities experience (P)
Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, codes and specifications (E)
Must be familiar with QA/QC systems and procedures (E)
The Inspection Engineer must be familiar with international codes and standards such as IBC, UBC, BS, ACI, ASTM,
AISC, and AASHTO (E)
